- Playback quality is lower than expected
- Cannot hear anything during playback
- Only one channel plays, but the other is silent
- Playback stutters or is intermittent or distorted
- Increase the volume fader in GoldWave's Control window (use Tool | Control to display that window if not shown).
- Use the Windows Volume Control accessory or double-click on the speaker icon in the Windows Start bar tray and increase the Master and Wave controls.
- Increase the volume level on any external speakers or headphones.
- Use Effect | Volume | Maximize Volume to increase the file's volume.
