- Cannot save as Windows Media Video (WMV)
- Cannot save as QuickTime Movie (MOV)
- Cannot save as MPEG Audio (MP3)
- Fast Start streaming does not work for QuickTime movies
- Saving a video file freezes the program or gives a DirectX error
- Use a lower frame rate.
- Use smaller width and height sizes.
- Select a different video encoder.
- Select lower bitrate settings for audio and video, where possible.
- For saving AVI files, select a lower playback rate under Options | Playback, select the "8-bit, mono audio" or "No audio" audio format, or install a better video encoder, such as DivX, then use that video format instead.
- Quality of the saved file is low
- Saved file does not work in other programs
