I don't read a lot of English books because most of them are translated but i do read the Ami living and the aim

So for a while, for every book in hebrew that I read, Iread one in english.
But the are no more options left for English books and it is frustrating.
Essays are nice, but short, when you read a whole book in English, it sets your mind to the language.

Actually I am looking desperately for a good book in Inglish but I can't find any.

I started to read the book of Chaim Greenbaum 'the will', so far it's nice, better in Hebrew

I used to lend books from a lovely aged American Rebbetzin.
Someone would buy new books every few months, with Maaser Gelt and lend them.
So many good books originally written in English, I didn't take translations.
I believe literature is to be read from the origin - It's not only about the plot...
The Reb. is sick I'm afraid to disturb.
Do you know lending libraries in JLM?

I read them in Hebrew, and when I was in my parents' house a few years ago, I noticed they had Isterak in English. I took a quick look at it, but it didn't seem as good as the Hebrew series.

I recommend anything by Libby Lazewnik, Riva Pomerantz, or Sarah Birnhack. I haven't read all of their books, but the ones I read I enjoyed.
